Fartech was created as part of a group simulation marketing project.

We defined outdoor enthusiasts as the target market and designed and promoted our product to this group. Since our focus was outdoor enthusiasts, we found we could reach a large number of them by putting ads in newspapers, online news, Wilderness Cable Network, sports talk radio, and posters in gyms and sporting locations. The media that we spent the largest amount of money on was the Wilderness Cable network, but it also reached the most significant number of people compared to the other forms of media.
